Self-fastening disc

Since the range of possible applications is nearly limitless, Klingspor offers self-fastening discs with different designs, perfectly matching every application purpose with the right product.

Design matching the application

A self-fastening disc is a grinding disc with a backing that features hook and loop lamination on its reverse side. The backings Klingspor has selected for these discs are paper, film, nylon screen (abrasive screen) or cotton cloth. The front of the backing is made up of the abrasive grit. Everything is possible - the grinding discs are matched with the grit that is most suitable for the respective application area.

The benefit of a product with hook and loop lamination lies in the quick and easy removal of the grinding disc from the hook and loop pad, e.g. during a switch to a different workpiece or another material.
