Part of a strong network

A lot has happened since Klingspor started developing and manufacturing high-quality diamond tools in 2015: Today, Klingspor’s diamond tools have become a fixture in the construction industry and have been convincing a steadily increasing number of users to put their trust in the premium quality of these diamond cutting blades Made in Europe.

In an effort to expand on this success in the construction industry and partake in the exchange of experience shared across the association network, Klingspor has been a member of the Association of the Construction Industry, Environmental Technology and Mechanical Engineering, abbreviated in German to VDBUM, since April of 2020.

“The collaboration with trade associations has always been of prime importance to Klingspor”, points out Dirk Köpsel, Head of Marketing and Sales in Western Europe. “Over the years, we have been benefiting tremendously from our memberships in various trade associations: Being a member allows you to learn a lot from each other, as exchanging experiences with others frequently provokes new thoughts. And, this goes for everyone involved: the other members of the association also stand to benefit from our wealth of experience in the areas of high-speed cutting blades and their safe application.

As a founding member of the Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives (in short, oSa), we are in a position to share a great deal on the compliance with essential safety standards. What is more, a strong association can serve as an important stepping stone and a helpful means to establish important contacts”, continues Dirk Köpsel. “In the VDBUM we have joined an association that can already look back on 40 years of experience and will support us as a strong partner from here on in!”

Diamond tools Made in Europe
Diamond tools have been a fixture in Klingspor’s product selection for many years now. The company started making and selling their own diamond cutting blades for a great number of applications in 2015. The products are developed at the company's German headquarters in Haiger. The diamond tools will then be manufactured in accordance with the strictest quality standards at a cutting-edge plant in the Ukraine. In 2019, Klingspor showcased the products for the first time at Bauma in Munich, where visitors showed enormous interest in high-quality diamond tools.

VDBUM – giving an edge to companies and experts alike
The Association of the Construction Industry, Environmental Technology and Mechanical Engineering (VDBUM) is a professional interest group that represents its members in all questions of everyday professional life and provides a forum to construction professionals. Its circle of members includes both users and manufacturers of construction ma-chinery along with their sales and service partners. The association rep-resents a knowledge, information and contact exchange that allows for a targeted exchange of experiences. The guiding principle of the associa-tion is to represent interests, promote ideas and bring people together.
